Vitamin drinks. I’m that “boring” kind of girl that is actually really unilateral regarding her drinking habits. I like water. Just plain water. Preferably even without gas. Of course I definitely enjoy a glass of freshly pressed orange juice during a Sunday brunch but I’m not that much into fruit juices, softdrinks or anything like that. I try to live as healthy as I can to ensure that my body has enough power to get all the work done that is scheduled throughout my busy week. Although there is one exception, which is a reason for my boyfriend to always makes fun of me. When it comes to vacation time I completely switch to sugar free ice tea. I know, it’s a little weird. However, a little while ago I was introduced to a drink that first caught my attention just because of its bottle’s clean design. I was taught that I was about to taste a drink called “Vitamin Well” from Sweden. It would be a lie to deny that I was really sceptical of those fancy waters. But in the end I was convinced to give them a try and was honestly impressed by its taste. I expected something unnaturally sweet but was surprised with a slightly fruity and really refreshing taste. Vitamin well comes in eight different flavors and varieties. Vitamin Well Defence, Care, Everyday, Focus, Reload, Antioxidant, Drive and Hydrate. I like the peach taste of Antioxidant and the grapefruit of defence best. All drinks are non-carbonated and sweetened with fruit sugar. I like them during or after a great workout routine so I wasn’t surprised to find them when I had the pleasure to attend a Body Method lesson at the Megaformer a couple of days later. After I spotted Vitamin Well I talked to the trainers and they said that most of their clients love to refresh themselves with those fancy drinks after a class like me. Due to the fact that I’m really into the natural sweetener Stevia for a while now I was excited to discover that Vitamin Well extended their product line and also offers Vitamin Well Stevia. For those of you that haven’t heard about Stevia yet: Stevia is a green plant that contains next to zero calories. Stevia contains steviol glycosides which has a natural sweetness far sweeter than sugar and has no effect on blood sugar levels. My favorite product for the daily use is this one. If you’re spotting Vitamin Well next time in the supermarket give it a try and let the flavors convince you.
