As I am going to be traveling a lot more in the next time I decided to start a travel section on Sancarolin.com.
Before I flew to Cape Town and New York I was looking for a page with recommendations for people with food allergies like me. People who don’t have to be attentive to ingredients often can’t understand this but I’m so done with situation like beeing excited about spending time in a nice restaurant or hotel, wanting to load up my energy by enjoying a delicious coffee or snack and then getting the information that they’re so sorry but unfortunately they do not have any lactose free, soy or almond milk or snacks without ingredients that make me feel bad after consumption. It’s extremely frustrating when you’re given the menu knowing that if you’re in luck you might have a choice of about 20% or less of what they offer ’cause everything else is conflicting with your allergies. I’m pretty sure some of you understand what I mean and feel the same.
So, long story short: my quest remained unsuccessful, so what was I supposed to do now? Right – starting to gather information for people like us myself. Here we go. I decided to extend this sections with refferals to nice hotels.
During the time when I lived in Cape Town and New York City I discovered a lot of places worth sharing with you. So from now on there’ll be the one or other travel related post showing up. Due to this section and my allergy (lactose) all the places I will introduce you to are perfectly suited for vegan people or those with the same allergy like me.
I’m kicking off this section with my last travel to Berlin. I was staying at The Stue in Charlottenburg. The Stue is the perfect place to stay for design and art lovers.
I was strolling around, discovering the whole hotel and got kind of angry with myself for not packing my trainers upon discovering the hotel’s pretty little gym.
The buffet in the morning is a dream come true for breakfast lovers. I really enjoyed fluffy scrambled eggs, a muesli with goji berries, a lactose free latte in a beautiful crystal glass AND (I was really excited about it as well as about the berries) a green juice!!! Even though they had no clue about my preferences, they fulfilled all my expectations for the perfect, healthy and delicious breakfast!
And when in Berlin you absolutely have to go to Dudu for the most delicious Sushi!
Enjoy the fine selection of pictures below.
