You might have noticed me wearing a combination of two or three delicate golden necklaces with most of my looks. Those pieces remind me of NYC and it turned to kind of a lovely habit to extend my collection every time I’m in the big apple. So I thought it’s time to put a spotlight on those pieces and to introduce you to the designer Helen Ficalora. I had the pleasure to meet her in person during my last stay and I teamed up with her to support a charity that was launched in the beginning of last month. I can’t share more information with you yet but I can’t wait to do so.
To reach as many people as possible and to teaser on this upcoming collaboration is the reason why today’s post is written in english and german.
By the way – the nail polish I’m wearing is my latest addiction and is called “Big Apple Red” from OPI. It’s hard to find the perfect shade of red but this nuance comes so close. I’m currently crazy about this tone.

Euch ist vielleicht schon aufgefallen, dass man mich kaum ohne meine goldenen Ketten sieht und ich fast immer zwei oder drei von ihnen trage. Die Ketten erinnern mich an NYC und jede hat ihre eigene Bedeutung. Es ist fast zu einem kleinen Ritual geworden, dass jedes Mal, wenn ich in NYC bin, ein neues Stück meiner Lieblingsdesignerin hinzu kommt. Dementsprechend dachte ich, dass es langsam an der Zeit wäre, sie gezielt in den Fokus zu heben und euch die Designerin Helen Ficalora vorzustellen. Der Look wurde ganz in der Nähe ihres kleinen süßen Ladens mitten in SOHO geschossen und ist immer einen Abstecher wert. Ihr findet ihn hier. Während meines letzten Aufenthaltes hatte ich das Vergnügen mich mit Helen Ficalora persönlich zu treffen, um ein anstehendes Charity Projekt zu besprechen, bei dem ich sie unterstützen werde. Aktuell kann ich noch nicht viel verraten, kann es aber kaum erwarten, euch mehr zu erzählen.
Um möglichst viele Leute zu erreichen und die Aktion anzukündigen ist dieser Post heute auch auf Englisch und Deutsch.
