Berlin Fashion Week is over and I’m back in Hamburg. Whenever I’m going on a business trip to Berlin with EDITED.de I have the great pleasure to stay in the Gorki Apartments in Berlin Mitte. By now, it has kind of turned into a place where I can feel at home when in Berlin even though I haven’t quite become friends with the city yet… The location is perfect and right between two of my favorite breakfast and dinner spots – DALUMA and DUDU. Check them out if you’re in Berlin and order the Green Giant smoothie at DALUMA and the Crunchy DUDU roll at Dudu’s – to die for!!!
Tuesday
I arrived in Berlin at 11am and went – after a quick outfit change as it was so much colder in Berlin than in Hamburg – straight to the PREMIUM exhibition. I was invited to take a closer look at the beautiful jewelry of NINA KASTENS. If you haven’t heard of her yet I promise you’ll do so soon enough. I strolled through the exhibition to find new trends for Autumn / Winter 2016 and still believe that these leather pants would make a great sale find and investment for this and the upcoming season. After a quick meeting in the SOHO House Berlin and some delicious Sushi rolls in the evening at Dudu’s with the EDITED girls and a friend of mine we had a short girls night out at the Adidas x Dandy Diary party. Our party night had to be cut short because of our busy schedule for the following day.
Wednesday
On my Instagram account it probably seemed like I kicked off the day at 11am with the launch of our EDITEDxLenaTerlutter capsule collection event. But honestly, my day started at 7am to prepare some social media related content for EDITED.de followed by a super quick breakfast. I then headed straight to the event location to prepare pictures and snaps to stream the event on our social media platforms. Although everything was a bit hectic, the event was a complete success and everyone was happy with the result in the end. The only thing that made me a little sad was that I wasn’t able to try one of the super delicious looking crepes because of my lactose intolerance. #fail.
At the collection launch with Lena Terlutter and Jessica Weiß.
Right after the launch my colleague and I hurried to the Fashion Week tent to attend the Rebekka Ruétz runway Show. In the early evening I met up with EFKAN NY to discover the “Personalities” exhibition from Michael Comte. Actually, taking pictures wasn’t allowed but…. I couldn’t resist to take one sneaky photo of one of my favorite artworks there.
Thursday
I started the last day relaxed with a friend and a breakfast at the Soho House Berlin. Afterwards I went to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tent again to see the the show from By Dimitri. Of all events I had been looking forward to this one the most and I must say the collection was my absolute highlight of this Fashion Week.
While heading back to Hamburg I had a really interesting meeting regarding SANCAROLIN’s future and I can’t wait to show you more.
