Are you a regular and attentive InStyle reader? If so you might have recognized the story on upcoming designer Lilly Ingenhoven from Munich in the February issue. You haven’t? Scroll down to find it at the bottom of this page. I was super excited to see this publication because that time I already knew that I’m going to work with her pieces during the upcoming weeks. With the age of 23 Lilly Ingenhoven turned her dream of being a professional designer into reality. Since then she has created countless dreamy pieces in her atelier in Munich.
Browsing through her lookbook after being asked whether I wanted to collaborate with Lilly Ingenhoven, this sequin skirt promptly caught my attention. Honestly, the version I’m wearing is a little unpractical to wear if you have to walk at all, but thanks to the designer this outstanding piece is available in two different lengths. I’m sure this skirt will attract countless glances whenever you wear it.
Lilly’s philosophy is „When you follow your heart, beautiful things will happen!“ With her own label it’s not her aim to change the world but to make everything a little more beautiful. I completely agree with this statement because I have felt the energy whilst wearing this skirt. I’m sure we’ll hear and see a lot more great things of Lilly Ingenhoven in the future.
