Many of my girlfriends often tell me that they wish to get white and radiantly beautiful teeth. I haven’t thought about it yet, to be honest. But when I visited my dentist last time I took the chance to have a little chat with him about the pros and cons coming along with the bleaching products offered. I wanted to get his professional opinion about this topic. As a professional, he immediately recommended to not trying it by myself without any professional help because many of the offered products include and work / functioning with bleaching hydrogen peroxide. Bleaching hydrogen peroxide infiltrating inside the teeth and are therefore way too aggressive. Those products can damage the teeth on a long term view.
A couple of weeks ago I randomly heard about a new product from Rapid White called Direct White. Important fact – the toothpaste and even the other products are without(!) bleaching hydrogen peroxide. How does it work?
It’s toothpaste with an optical whitening technology that lightens up the teeth only for a short time. So in a nutshell: the effect is just temporary for round about one day. Due to the fact that just tiny white pigments lay over the teeth to create the whitening effect, the effect disappears more and more during the day after consuming food or drinks. The product promises that you can see a difference directly after the first use. I was still a little skeptical so I convinced my boyfriend to try the toothpaste together with me in order to get two results.
Right after the first use I have seen a slightly difference but I have to honestly mention that I also had the feeling to have some pad on my teeth. Although I liked the whitening effect I had to familiarize a little with the described feeling first. After a few days of daily use both of us noticed a clear difference in the colour of our teeth. The toothpaste is nice to have and perfect to use for all the upcoming Christmas events because smiling and happy girls are the most beautiful 🙂
