I admit to developing a certain weakness for beauty products. Especially for products out of one line. Thanks to my blog, I have gotten more and more collaboration requests for beauty instead of fashion for a while now. I love it because every testing reminds me of my intern life in the beauty department of the ELLE Magazine during my studies.
Today, I want to share my experience with the Advanced Génifique Sensitive serum from Lancôme. Fun fact: it is by sheer coincidence that I bought the eye cream Génifique Yeux out of this line a couple of weeks ago. I really wanted to do something good for myself and my skin and to try a product of a brand I never used before. I love the cooling feeling of the cream when I apply the gel texture around my eyes.
Since buying this “me-treat” I’m glad about the decision I made every time I use it during my morning routine. Apart from this, I’m used to keeping my morning routine as easy and short as I can. For many years now I have simply used the Hydraphase Intense Legere cream from La Roche Posay as a foundation and I’m super satisfied. Mascara and a hint of highlighter and blush – ready to start the day.
Use the night meaningfully
The Advanced Génifique Sensitive serum is for the night. When your skin feels stressed out it’s recommended to use this product over a period of one month. It reactivates, repairs and supports the visible features of youthful skin. I recently went on a skiing holiday. The temperature went down to -17 degrees. It was cold AF and the coldness has dried and stressed my skin. A perfect occasion to start a night routine with the serum.
My interim conclusion: I have been using the cream for three weeks now and my skin is noticeably softer. In general, I fortunately don’t have any skin problems but it definitely seems like my skin looks fresher. Honestly, I would recommend this product! The serum is applied very quickly and it feels good to have developed a certain evening routine. Treat yourself, your body and your skin right – during the day and night.
